GlobaLex Chambers is a full service law firm registered with the Attorney General’s Office of Mauritius and is based within the capital city of Port-Louis.

The firm covers all aspects of Mauritian law with a particular emphasis on corporate, commercial and fiduciary matters. Having held senior positions within the legal departments of large conglomerates and well-established law firms, our members bring in a wealth of experience in the practice of the different areas that touch upon business law. Soo Fon IP MIN WAN, Partner

A qualified barrister admitted to The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn since 1995 and called to the Mauritius Bar in 2002, Soo obtained her law degree from the University of Birmingham, UK. She practised as senior associate for 5 years with a tier 1 local law firm and earned her recognition by IFLR1000 and Chambers & Partners. Prior to that Soo was acting as the Head of Legal, Trust and Compliance of one of the largest management companies in the global business sector for 6 years.

Vincent CHONG LEUNG, Partner

A former partner at a leading local law firm and previously the Head of Legal of a management company, Vincent graduated in English Law and French Law from the University of Kent, UK and Universite Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV, France. He also completed both the Legal Practice Course and the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law, UK. He is a member of The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and was called to the Bar of England and Wales and that of Mauritius.

Paul CHONG LEUNG, Barrister-at-Law

Paul is a barrister since 1971 and has appeared before all levels of court. He was previously a Magistrate and a former Attorney-General in addition to previously serving as the Ambassador of Mauritius to the People’s Republic of China. He has represented Mauritius at a number of international conferences and headed the Mauritian delegation to the UN Conference Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
